God's Word For You Today

*God is always standing by our side, waiting on us to move aside and allow Him to take charge of our lives. What is preventing you from moving out of the way?

*On those days when you feel down, that's the time to start looking up.

* God moves in your life in order to provoke you to move in another person's life. We are given blessings not just to hoard them but to dispense or share them with your fellow man. God is always in the blessing business, we must always make sure we are about our Father's business.

• Prov. 8:6 - “Listen, for I will speak noble things; And the opening of my lips will reveal right things.”

• Ps. 8:9 - “O LORD, our Lord, How majestic is Your name in all the earth.”

     The name of Jesus is so awesome and beautiful, it lifts up the lonely and humbles the proud. Those who are free, Jesus' name enslaves them to love and share, those who are bound Jesus' name liberates to joy and thankfulness. Each time we open our mouths it should be in a manner that gives God the glory and brings the hearer to the conclusion that we really do know God and are known of God. Jesus' name can do so much both for the Christian and for the non-Christian. For the Christian the name of Jesus uplifts, for the non-Christian the name of Jesus convicts and shames - but Jesus' name will move us in one way or the other and I always need to be mindful and give thanks to Jesus and recognize that powerful name and to always speak to my fellow man about Jesus.

Here in San Antonio, we are part of an organization that goes out in the streets daily to pass out tracts and religious booklets to share the gospel of Christ and we also sell merchandise to help pay for Bibles that we give to area churches, shelters, ministries and the homeless.
